PRODUCTO FRESCO is a project that aims to annually showcase the best product design created in the last two years through an exhibition at Matadero Madrid and a printed publication featuring all the selected works.

This is an initiative by DIMAD, the Association of Designers of Madrid, based at the Central de Diseño, Matadero Madrid, and a member of READ, the Spanish Network of Design Associations. Since 2018, the project has expanded its geographical reach through the participation of other READ associations, with EIDE helping to bring the design from Euskadi and Navarra to Madrid this year.

After the last edition in 2021, PRODUCTO FRESCO returns with enthusiasm to continue strengthening the creative community by bringing together the best product design from the last two years. This event has become an unmissable opportunity for design professionals, students, studios, and companies in the sector to showcase, share, and connect with the most current product design ecosystem.

To celebrate the return of Producto Fresco, all members of DIMAD and EIDE whose projects are selected will be able to participate for free.

Who can register?

• Designers, design studios, students, and companies based in the Community of Madrid, the Basque Country, and the Navarra Regional Community.
• Projects designed, produced, and/or commercialized between January 1, 2023, and the closing date of this call on May 5, 2025, may be registered.

All proposals will be evaluated by a selection committee, which we will announce in the coming days. The selected projects will be part of the collective exhibition PRODUCTO FRESCO 2025, which will take place at the Central de Diseño in Matadero Madrid from June 12 to mid-September.
