1. Who is responsible for processing your data?

In accordance with current data protection regulations, we inform you that the data controller is EIDE Euskal Diseinuaren Elkartea – Basque Design Association, with Tax ID: G48202535 and registered office at Plaza Ensanche, 11 – Edif. Ensanche, Bilbao.

2. For what purpose do we process your personal data?

At EIDE, we process the information you provide in order to manage the contractual relationship that binds us, handle the sending of the information you request, provide information about our activities and/or manage your registration to become a member.

3. How long will we keep your personal data?

Your data will be kept for the minimum time necessary to properly provide the service offered, as well as to meet any responsibilities that may arise from it and any other legal requirements.

4. What is the legal basis for processing your data?

The legal basis for processing your personal data may be the execution of a potential and/or formalized contractual relationship, legitimate interest, legal obligation and/or the consent of the data subject.

We may process your personal data on different legal bases depending on the purpose for which they are collected.

Therefore, the legal bases used are:

  • To manage your registration as a member, or your registration in any activity, the performance of a contractual relationship.
  • To manage user web registration: the requested consent, and to analyze website usage, for example through cookies, legitimate interest.
  • To send promotional and advertising communications and provide personalized services; if you are a member, the performance of the contractual relationship and legitimate interest. If you are not a client and only wish to receive a newsletter, the consent we request from you.
  • For surveys or quality assessments, legitimate interest.

In certain cases, we are required to process your personal data in order to comply with legal obligations.

In any case, the data we request is adequate, relevant and strictly necessary, and you are not obliged to provide it, but failure to do so may affect the purpose of the service or make it impossible to provide it.

5. To whom will your data be disclosed?

EIDE will not disclose your data to any third party unless expressly informed or legally required.

6. What are your rights when you provide us with your data?

The data protection rights held by data subjects are:

  • The right to request access to personal data concerning the data subject.
  • The right to rectification or erasure.
  • The right to object.
  • The right to request restriction of processing.
  • The right to data portability.

Data subjects may exercise their data protection rights by sending a written communication to the registered office of EIDE or to the email address provided for this purpose, info@eidedesign.eus, including in both cases a copy of their ID or equivalent identification document.

7. Can I withdraw consent?

You have the possibility and the right to withdraw consent for any specific purpose granted at the time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.

8. Where can I file a complaint if I believe my data is not being properly processed?

If any data subject considers that their data is not being processed correctly by EIDE, they may submit complaints to info@eidedesign.eus or to the corresponding data protection authority, the AEPD being the competent authority in Spain, www.aepd.es

9. Security and updating of your personal data

In order to safeguard the security of your personal data, we inform you that EIDE has adopted all necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of the personal data provided. All of this is to prevent its alteration, loss and/or unauthorized processing or access, as required by regulations, although absolute security does not exist. It is important that, in order for us to keep your personal data up to date, you inform us whenever there is any change.

10. Confidentiality

EIDE informs you that your data will be treated with the utmost care and confidentiality by all personnel involved in any stage of processing. We will not transfer or disclose your data to any third party, except in legally established cases or unless expressly authorized by the data subject.
