New Members

Ivan González Alonso and Carlos San José Frutos are the founders of Biribil Ecolab, an industrial design studio that is characterized by offering research, design, and prototyping services for new products, as well as the development of low-impact materials for various sectors, integrating circular economy strategies. __ ADITU MATCH #3 Salto (Agustinak Zentroa, May 8, 2025)

In this third meeting, we will have the company SALTO. Borja Ganzarain and Alex Roquero will explain the rebranding process of SALTO, the new brand architecture, corporate identity, and how this reflection led to the creation of the VBL project, a design language for hardware products. We remind you that, after these three ADITU MATCH —Walter Pack, ABB Niessen, and Salto— we will close this phase of the CÉLULAS CREATIVAS 3.0 project, supported by the Diputación Foral de Gipuzkoa, with an ADITU DESIGN, a round table to be held on June 12 at Agustinak Zentroa (Errenteria), for which we will soon provide details and open registration.

__ BEGIHANDI #48 Donostia/San Sebastián (Le Bukowski, May 8, 2025)

Next Thursday, May 8, we will celebrate the second edition of 2025 at Le Bukowski (Egia, 8), where we will have three exceptional speakers: Ainhoa Arias (Xeita Kitchen Tools), Iñigo Burgi (Herederos de Rowan), and Marta Fernández Caballero (Contemporary Jewelry). __ AGENTE COMERCIAL DE DISEÑO (Wikitoki, May 19, 2025)

How do we design/approach collaboration between design professionals? How can we refine our offering to provide more competitive services? What conditions should be met for a successful professional relationship? We invite you to a session where we will explore possibilities for collaboration in the design sector and learn about the obligations and rights involved in the different ways of working in teams or contracting/delegating certain services: vertical, transversal, horizontal, etc. This session is part of an EIDE project, supported by the «Bizkaia Creativa 2024″ program of the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia, with the goal of strengthening the inter-cooperation between design studios and professionals and helping define a potential commercial agent service specialized in the sector. __ INDUSDESIGN (Basque Technology Park / Vitoria-Gasteiz Campus, June 5, 2025)

Organized by SPRI-Enpresa Digitala, in collaboration with EIDE and DIGA, on June 5 we will celebrate the second edition of «IndusDesign. Design for Business Transformation» at the Central Building of the Basque Technology Park (Vitoria-Gasteiz Campus), an inspirational event to showcase to the business sector, through a keynote and 4 practical case studies, different ways to add value through design. __ WASTE LAB BIZKAIA

In its efforts to attract the cultural and creative sectors and search for innovation projects aligned with the objectives of this space, on April 8th the first meeting of the Multisectoral Table of Circular Economy and Creative Economy was held at the WLB headquarters. Convened by EIDE, in addition to the members of the steering group, representatives from the Bizkaia delegation of the COAVN (Basque-Navarre College of Architects), BUILD:INN (Cluster of the Construction Industry in the Basque Country), Karraskan (Professional Association for the Promotion of Innovation in Culture and the Culture of Innovation in Euskadi), Arbaso (Association for the Promotion of Traditional Handicrafts of Euskal Herria), Basque Green Film (a technical secretariat promoted by the Basque Government to boost sustainable cinema in the Basque Country), and Estudio Open participated. During the meeting, progress of the WLB since its inauguration in November 2024 was shared, the needs and proposals from the different sectors involved were discussed, and a proposed functioning of this working group was examined. A similar table will soon be convened with training centers, and later, a final table with professionals and creative companies linked to the circular economy.
