Berlin
This position has been reinforced by the Gure Diseinu Onenak initiative, promoted by EIDE since 2024. A support and selection programme aimed at showcasing the talent of professionals and partner companies at these leading international awards. The results achieved this year confirm that this is the right path to promote the quality of local design in global markets.
Shared recognition
Among the award winners, the iF GOLD AWARD awarded to ABB Niessen (Oiartzun) for its Vega / Alter Vega series stands out; an award that highlights the value of eco-design in high-tech products. This recognition is joined by projects from various disciplines and companies in the region, including EIDE itself and its partner companies:

Waste Lab Bizkaia (DFB + EIDE + Aclima)
An initiative that we helped to conceptualise through the association via a process involving partners such as Benicio Aguerrea, Lander Balza, Brigitte Sauvage, Carlos San José, Jon Abad, Leire García and Ricardo Antón; and in which we continue to play an active role. Currently, EIDE integrates its governance model alongside leading organisations such as Garbiker and Aclima, consolidating a space for innovation where design is key to the circular economy in the region.

Dot and Taqta make their debut with awards for their corporate website and the REDOIT project for Kendu respectively.

Our corporate partner companies Orbea and Salto Systems, already well-versed in these awards, were also recognised.
As were six other projects from companies in the sector, such as Orona, B.lux, NARE Design, Kutxa Fundazioa + MOVE Branding, Stac Design + Studio Juanita’s, Carpintería Yurrita + Zuhaizki + Arquimaña
As we noted following the 2025 edition, design is a strategic tool for the competitiveness of our region. Having secured almost half of the national awards in a competition of this calibre is an indicator of the maturity of our companies and professionals. At EIDE, we congratulate all the winning teams for their contribution to strengthening the image of Basque and Navarrese design beyond our borders.
Congratulations to everyone!
