This will be a special day in the year of our 40th anniversary, during which, after sharing with members a review of 2025 and plans for 2026, you will be able to take part in an event conceived as the starting point for the new “Bilbao Bizkaia Design Week (BBDW)”, which from 2026 onwards we will lead and organize, while it will continue to be promoted and sponsored by Beaz and Bilbao Ekintza. The program we have prepared will address the connection between academia and the job market and businesses, the different areas within companies where design is integrated, and a preview of the new approach and format of the November event that will take over from BBDW.

To explore these topics in depth, we will be joined by:

• Leire Bereziartua Gonzalez – Coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design Engineering at the University of Deusto
• Thomas-Eric Béliveau – Industrial Design Professor at the University of Deusto
• ORBEA (speaker to be confirmed)
• Angélica Barco – President of EIDE
