Through guided tours of design studios and spaces, mainly in Bilbao and Getxo, Open Studio Bizkaia opens up the workspaces and working methods of design professionals, bringing them closer to students, businesses and the general public. An opportunity to understand how professional practice takes shape and to raise the profile of the region’s creative scene.
Portfolio Night
A space for support and guidance for students and young designers. Through direct conversations with professionals from various disciplines at EIDE, Portfolio Night offers feedback, answers questions and helps guide entry into the job market, sharing current and future challenges, and fostering close, horizontal contact between generations. The event operates through a table-rotation system, facilitating informal and diverse interaction with many of these professionals.
Talentu Gazteak
An initiative aimed at showcasing young talent and the best projects developed each year at higher education institutions in the Basque Country and Navarre offering degrees related to design and creativity. Talentu Gazteak focuses on the younger generations, promoting recognition of their work and exchange between students from different institutions, with the aim of connecting with the business world as a first step towards integrating into the professional ecosystem.
